WORDS ARE LIKE NITROGLYCERINE----- THEY CAN BLOW UP BRIDGES OR HEAL HEARTS.
Just to see how it feels, refrain from saying anything bad about anybody or anything for the next twenty-four hours. Mark Twain is famous for saying, "The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and the lighting bug". Idle hands are the devil's workshop, idle lips are his mouthpiece. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue"(Prov. 18:21).
You can tell more about a person by what he says about others than you can by what others say about him. An original person says, "let's find a way". A copy says, "There is no way". The original says, "There should be a better way to do it". A copy says, "That's the way it's always been done here".
Ignorance is always eager to speak. The best time for you to hold your tongue is the time you feel you must say something or bust. Not even the fastest car can catch a word sparked in anger. You'll never be hurt by anything you didn't say. Silence is the ultimate weapon of power; it's also one of the hardest arguments to dispute. It's a mistake to judge a person's horsepower by their exhaust.
Take a tip from nature: your ears weren't made to shut, but your mouth was! When argument flares up, a wise person quenches it with silence. Sometimes you have to be quiet to be heard. It's when the fish opens its mouth that it gets caught.
Your words are a reflection of where you are going. Always think before you talk.
Have a productive day, lovers ❤️
